General tips

• Please book your appointment in advance to ensure timely photo delivery.

• Please be mindful of the 3pm-5pm traffic that Charleston has if your booking is during the week during those times.

• It's essential to express your ideas and concepts because some tasks require careful planning. Not everything can be accomplished in Photoshop or on the spot in the moment

• Stretch - Some poses you have in mind may be more challenging than expected.

• After booking, please avoid contacting me on any social media platforms; contact me through the business line HERE with any questions and concerns.

• Remember: Your photos will capture exactly how you feel, so have fun.

Retainer Fee

• The 25% retainer fee serves as a deposit to confirm the booking time/date and also acts as a cancellation fee.

• ALL RETAINER FEES/DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE

Calendar dates

• Available booking dates are highlighted in black. Dates not in black (grayed out) are unavailable for booking.

Holiday Scheduling & Turnaround Times

• Clients are advised to be mindful of major holidays when booking a photoshoot.

• High booking volume and holiday closures may cause fluctuations in estimated turnaround times.

Travels

• My travel packages are time-specific so please be truthful about the travel time so I can accommodate your booking and everyone else bookings accordingly

Confirmation

• After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a rundown of what your session includes.

  If you need to make any changes to your photoshoot regarding rescheduling, additional payments, or any other modifications, you can do so using the "edit appointment" tab in the confirmation email you received.

Rescheduling

• Clients reserve the right to reschedule any session 72 hours or more in advance within their confirmation email. 

• Personal Rescheduling done by me within 72 hours of your booking will incur an additional fee.

Cancellations/ No Show

• Cancellations under any circumstances will result in a forfeit of your retainer fee on all packages.

  A no-show under any circumstances will result in a forfeit of your retainer fee on all packages.

  If you can, reschedule before your appointment time to use your retainer deposit.

Preparation

• We advise clients to be prepared in terms of 

  • PRACTICE/ RESEARCH YOUR POSES/POSING  

  • Outfits tried on to ensure they fit

  • Props together

  • MaPped out locations or spots to shoot

  • Mapped out locations to possibly change

  • account for the time that it takes to walk from one spot to the next

Props

• We encourage clients to provide any “props” they deem beneficial to the shoot.

• Any Champagne popping, HEAVY bubble blowing, or any use of liquids that will not stay within an object or sealed.

The Shoot

• Please notify me as soon as possible if you expect to arrive late. Depending on the remaining time, I’ll let you know whether we can continue with the session as scheduled.

• If I am late, session time will be adjusted accordingly to ensure the client receives the full amount of time booked

Use of Time

• The entire photoshoot process is included in the time that you booked. 

• I typically shoot in 1–3 minute intervals. After each interval, I’ll allow you to review the photos to ensure we’re capturing images you’re satisfied with before moving on to the next pose or location.

After the shoot

• After your session, I will guide you through the photo selection process and collect any remaining balance due.

  Remaining balances may be paid using the card on file used to secure your booking, or through alternative payment methods, including cash, Cash App, Apple Pay, or a different card.

  Within 1–2 days after your shoot, you will receive an online gallery link via email where you can review and select your photos.

  Once your photo selections have been submitted, the home screen of your gallery will display your estimated turnaround and delivery date.

 Images

• Clients will receive access to all images captured during their session unless.

  Please review your selections carefully before submitting them for retouching. If an incorrect image is selected and editing has already been completed, an additional re-editing fee will apply to retouch a replacement image.

  To help ensure timely delivery, clients are encouraged to submit their retouching selections within 3 days of receiving their gallery.

  Photo selections submitted closer to the estimated turnaround date may require additional processing time.

Turnaround Times

• Please note that all photo delivery turnaround times are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

  The estimated completion date displayed on the front page of your gallery serves as an approximate delivery timeframe for your edited images.

  Turnaround times may vary based on the number of images selected, editing complexity, current booking volume, and seasonal demand.

  While every effort is made to deliver photos on or before the estimated date, occasional delays may occur to maintain the highest quality standards.

  Clients are strongly encouraged to schedule their session at least 1–2 weeks before the date the photos are needed to allow for any unexpected delays.

  Sessions photographed between Friday and Sunday will have a turnaround date reflecting the following Tuesday of the estimated delivery timeframe.

Rush add-ons

• Rushed photos will be returned within the time frame that you paid for, by the end of the workday (9 pm).

  Mondays are not included in rush days.

  In the event that a client requests a refund after payment has been made in full and/or after the session or event has taken place, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis if the concern presented is determined to be valid.

  Approved refunds are limited to a maximum of 50% of the total amount paid. The non-refundable portion includes the session deposit, reserved booking time, preparation, and services already provided.

  Rights of Use: 1Click Images & Sounds LLC (Aj Smalls) retains the rights to all images and productions created for portfolio use, company marketing, publications, social media, promotional materials, and related business purposes. Client privacy and preferences are respected. Clients who do not wish for their images or content to be used for promotional purposes should communicate this request before or during their session.

  To protect brand identity and creative work, any pre-production or post-production content shared by 1Click Images & Sounds LLC may include watermarks unless otherwise agreed upon.
